About the Role

Méstil Hotel & Residences is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creatively driven Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager to help elevate one of Uganda’s most distinguished hospitality brands. This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute to a property where refined design, exceptional service, and memorable guest experiences define every moment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping brand perception, driving commercial success, and positioning Méstil as the preferred choice for discerning travelers and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing leadership team to conceptualize, execute, and optimize high impact campaigns that inspire, engage, and convert.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships across corporate, leisure, and MICE segments, ensuring Méstil remains top of mind for conferences, events, and business travel.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities through innovative strategies, competitive analysis, and proactive business development.
  • Uphold and champion Méstil’s brand standards, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, guest touchpoints, and marketing initiatives.
  • Work cross functionally with internal departments and external partners to deliver seamless, brand aligned experiences that enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
  • Apply creativity, commercial acumen, and a deep passion for hospitality to elevate brand visibility, strengthen partnerships, and support long term business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality sales or marketing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
  • Highly proactive, self motivated, and results oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
